You are my stronghold!

You will be starting 3rd grade, yup, 3rd grade! CRAZY!

You are very smart...very, very, intelligent! You are in the TAG program!

You love to read and can read above level books! Sometimes you just want to read the same books you are comfortable with.

You are a very talented artist!

You keep telling us that you are going to be a 3D Game Artist like your Daddy but now you also want to do music so you have been working on beats! You said you didn't want to be President because we all know what happens to presidents! (The get assasinated!)

You are such a rule follower! You really are! You worry about everything!

You weigh about 70 pounds and 51 inches tall!
You like to play soccer!

You love to play video games, watch cartoons (Ninjago is your fav) and movies!

You write some awesome stories but need to add more!!

You are still a picky eater but have tried many new things!

Your favorites are of course pizza, mac n cheese, plain double cheeseburgers but now you LOVE fettuccine with alfredo sauce, zucchini, not squash, and pei wei, honey seared chicken with rice and noodles. You still love SPAM! I mix it with eggs and rice so you're not just eating spam.

You really are a great big brother even though you guys have the normal brother sister and brother brother relationships. You don't always like being the big brother but you are so good at it! You don't like it when your brother or sister are sad and you want to fix it.

I love how you taught your brother how to pose when you say "What!"

And how you also taught him "Yummy, yummy so delicious!"

  

You are a very sweet son! You like to leave me notes. You made this special card for me that told me that I was the best mom. And it also had a place to remind me to go to my happy place when I am stressed out.  And you also bought me a lollipop to surprise me. You told me that you tried to get the chocolate one because it's sweet like me. I am so lucky to have you.

My Big Boy!

You are in first grade. You are in the TAG (gifted) program. You are in the dual language Math enrichment program! You are the only one in your class to get your first AR Tag! You made 200 club! You can read 3rd grade level books. You can solve multi-step math problems in your head! You are so sweet! You can be stubborn! You love to be challenged! You are swimming like crazy! You dunk your head and swim underwater now! : )

Yesterday, I had an annoying afternoon. I went to run some errands that I thought would be very quick. I was going to mail a package and thought I could mail it using the machine. Well, since I was mailing it to a military address I had to wait in this super long line. Then I went to pick up a prescription just to find out I had called the wrong pharmacy. Then I tried to pick up some pictures and they needed a copy of the copyright release. I only had the original and they didn't have a copier. So, G could tell I was annoyed. So he made me pancakes with strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, syrup and a glass of OJ and said "Here Mommy, will this make you feel better!" I love him! He made it on his IPod! I'm so lucky!

1st week of first grade:

G has been talking about how he wants a friend to come over. He got her, yes I said her, phone number yesterday. He wants to call her. So do I call the mom first, will the mom be mad that her daughter gave out her number, what do I do? I'm not making it a big deal with him but can't believe my baby wants to hang out with a girl! :)

WOW, you are 6!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! My first baby is six, yes SIX years old today! Time has flown by sooooo fast! I am one lucky Mommy! Garrison, I LOVE you and you have truly been a blessing!
